"Fragments of Time"

These paintings are documentation of the act of creating, all the airy intentions that open an ebb and flow, to the movement and energy driving the creative gesture to its enclosed essence physically embodied in space and time.  Each painting is a fragment of time, the moment forever captured in paint.  The shadow of my time is in the austere alacrity of creation in this space.  

It is intriguing how paintings come into existence at different coordinates of space and time; they exist to the viewer in the moment of location upon it.  This creative process within the viewer’s fragment of time interlaces with a fragment of my time.  The idea of time and creation, life only obtained when becoming aware of life, and the exclusivity of each individual’s pertinence to spacetime – interests me.
